Mission

Through Inclusiveness and rigorous creative inquiry, the Department of Theatre and Dance provides comprehensive training in theatre and dance emphasizing passion, performance, collaboration, community and issues of social justice.

Outcomes

Theatre Arts graduates will be able to:

• Perform for audiences, on stage or in other areas and careers.
• Engage individuals and build community through meaningful theatre and dance experiences.
• Reflect on historical and contemporary works of theatre and dance from diverse cultures.
• Create performances that present human issues in inclusive, exciting, original ways.
